1. lag getting fixed - in Test Server Feedback [original thread]
I'd like to know as well. Can anyone confirm this? It's really no fun being podded before you can even see what's going on. ------------------------------------------------ "The best defense is a dead opponent." - Avaton White "The very notion of...

2. Is there a limit how big you can have a pile in this patch? - in Test Server Feedback [original thread]
Only problem with a double data type is the fact that it degrades to scientific notation and doesn't represent the actual number for really big numbers. I've never had a use for it since it is so completely inaccurate. ----------------------------...

3. Is there a limit how big you can have a pile in this patch? - in Test Server Feedback [original thread]
Quote: But I did find you can make the pile bigger if you just add 1 trit at a time (this is a pain). Hmmm that would mean that the variables that are used to sum the piles are long integers and not the variable that holds the amount of ...

4. Is there a limit how big you can have a pile in this patch? - in Test Server Feedback [original thread]
In my opinion if items like stations are going to require huge piles of minerals then it needs to be changed to some other data type and could be considered a bug. Again, in VB (the only language I know) there is a "currency" data type that would ...

5. Is there a limit how big you can have a pile in this patch? - in Test Server Feedback [original thread]
Correct. In VB it's called a "Long Integer" data type. û2,147,483,648 thru 2,147,483,647 Seems a little silly to restrict the item piles to this data type. ------------------------------------------------ "The best defense is a dead opponent." - A...

6. 1238 - Summary and bug list - in Test Server Feedback [original thread]
As I was docking in the Spacelane Testing Facilities station in Isinokka it was taking a little longer than usual so to pass the time I attempted to execute a "Stack All" command on my Bestower's cargo hold. While the stacking was underway (i.e. t...

7. Why is noone complaining about stuck anymore? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]

8. Bug Or Coincidence? - in Test Server Feedback [original thread]
Edited by: Avaton White on 28/09/2003 13:31:04 Since last patch (1238) I've been getting a long wait at the login screen sometimes. The progress bar says "Got Units" and it just sits there eating all my bandwidth for about a minute. This only ...

Edited by: Avaton White on 27/09/2003 13:02:08 Am I the only one that thinks permanent player-deployable items like cargo containers will become a massive problem in a few months? Currently there is no way to track your deployed items so if yo...

Out of a great patch this is the biggest festering pimple in need of a good lancing. The fact that it doesn't sort is not in itself what annoys me. It's the fact that it DID sort and that was apparently removed for some insane reason that annoys t...
